- Provide support of research with the purpose to engage in professional fluidics engineering functions involving medical research practices to support the laboratory’s efforts.Demonstrate knowledge of biomedical engineering principles, practices, and techniques.Coordinate all design phases with mangers, other engineers, and technical support personnel.Direct the integration, fabrication, and functional testing of systems after installation to insure that performance meets specifications and client requirements.Resolve novel systems and design engineering problems which require the development of new techniques or the innovative application of new state‐of‐the‐art technology.Develop models of fluid flow in air and liquid systems
- M.S., (3+ years’ experience in Fluidics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline, preferably with a concentration in fluid‐thermal sciences)Knowledge of preparation and presentation of scientific articles including formatting, writing, and graphic presentations.Experience in using electronic/computer media for presentations and/or briefs.Experience and leadership working in a multidisciplinary environment with engineers and scientists.Experience in mechanical design and analysis and commercial CFD and CAD packages.Proficient in the use of statistical software and its application in the medical research environment.
