Data Center Operations Manager oversees Operations Staff 24 / 7 managing a Virtual Server hosting infrastructure. Responsible for developing and overseeing procedures in concert with the government lead and customer representatives to be used by all Operations Staff in the conduct of their day-to-day operations. The DCOM is also responsible for training all Operations Staff positions on those procedures as required. The DCOM oversees the composition of daily reports on the activities of the Operations Staff. The DCOM represents Computer Operations at any Client and System Support meetings and speaks to any issues encountered and/or logged by his/her personnel. The DCOM documents and communicates decisions or changes that result from the meetings to contractor operations personnel. The Manager is responsible for ensuring staffing for Operations requirements on a day-to-day basis and periodic requirements such as Disaster Recovery Testing. The Manager oversees the access and performance of duties within the Datacenter; ensuring that only authorized personnel are allowed into the facility and that all visitors are properly escorted. Responsible for managing multiple projects. Schedules and assigns duties to subordinates. Acts as supervisor for task area or sub-task area personnel and reports performance to Government or Contractor management. Meets with Government personnel; other contract leads; and client representatives. Assigns; schedules; and reviews work of subordinates. Identifies mistakes/errors committed by the team and works to resolve them. Trains new contract personnel. Is able to successfully perform the work defined in the most senior or highest skill level (non-Task Lead) positions within the Task Area or sub-Task Area defined

Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 10-15 years of directly related experience in network analysis and design.


DIA TS/SCI Clearance 8-10 years of related experience; including supervisory experience. Demonstrated experience with Windows operating systems and Active Directory Security Plus Certification Industry certifications a plus (MCP; MCSE; VCP; or other) Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Demonstrated experience with training technical staff. Demonstrated experience with Disaster Recovery Testing for software and systems administration
