IT Reports Analyst (Part-time)


Position performs as a call center analyst that contributes to report generation for incident response activities as part of a larger team.


These activities may include; but are not limited to; identifying; collecting; correlating and analyzing technical information related to NG911 incidents reported by customers throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.


Candidate will be required to review, edit as required and generate incident reports and tickets in an incident or event tracking database. Candidate should possess the ability or be willing to train for analyzing indicators and evaluating the potential impact/threat to the NG911 system; advising other team members as a matter of escalation.


This position will be flexible with regard to shift schedule and will be 24 – 32 hours per week.




Education Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications 0-2 years of directly related experience in network administration and support.



Required Skills:  Prior knowledge and experience with IT Service Level management areas: 


    Ability to work with multiple Network Management reporting systems Familiarity/experience with a helpdesk or other centralized IT technical assistance environment Strong attention to detail and quality Takes initiative to understand and master report generation and trend analysis Actively contributes to the knowledge growth of the entire team;Seeks out opportunities to increase exposure to many types of technologies; both emerging and mature Must have excellent writing and speaking skills including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to persons at all levels from the end-user community to technical experts to executives
Preferred Skills: At least one year of familiarity with any of the following:

    Report generation and analysisDatabase and Configuration managementDemonstrates an interest and aptitude for problem solvingProactive worker that can demonstrate seeking opportunities and challenges in past positions
