1. Execute guidance from the oversight agencies that direct the DHP enhancement

processes and vetted by the JPC8 Chair;

2. Plan and coordinate JPC8-sponsored technical meetings, workshops, and

programmatic reviews on diverse scientific topics;

Perform all routine activities, including preparation of periodic reports, according to

JPC8 standing operating procedures (SOPs);

4. Responsible for performing all administrative tasks utilizing internal web-base

database systems associated with processing and managing the DHPe’s intramural and

extramural research contracts;

5. Prepare funding request documents for intramural research studies;

6. Prepare and maintain a suspense system to track periodic progress reports;

7. Coordinate internal and/or external scientific program reviews and JPC8 members’

oversight of all aspects of the DHPe research programs;

8. Monitor project funding commitments, obligations, and disbursements;

9. Prepare and execute weekly, monthly and annual reports documenting status or


10. Preapre briefing slides, fact sheets, brochures, meeting and conference support materials, and other marketing materials to communicate research concepts and strategy to a wide variety of audiences, including DoD senior leadership.

11. Provide adminstrative support for Congressional Special Interest research programs (EGS, EDMS)

12. Maintain a library of scientific publications, interacting with prinipcal investigators to obtain research updates preparing and staffing Command Correspondence to principal investigators, and compiling research program information for annual reports to Congress and internal CRMRP/JPC-8 reports.

13. Maintain a suspense system to track taskers, periodic progress reports and coordinates scientific peer reviews of research progress reports.

14. Compile and maintain program data in applicable database systems and will develop and maintain electronic master files for all research and development program activities within assigned areas including minutes, briefings, spreadsheets, and presentations.

15. Coordinate CRMRP/JPC-8 meetings and prepare/staff packets as assigned to obtain all required MRMC and MEDCOM approvals.

16. Coordinate/prepare research funding documents and become efficient in using government financial systems to run funding reports (GFEBS, PRTAS, EGS, CADS, EDMS, Prosite etc.). Obtain and maintain training and proficiency on government financial and program management systems.

Education Bachelors Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience.



  • Must be a U.S. citizen. / Must be able to obtain a National Security Clearance.
  • 5-8 years of related finance or business analysis experience.
  • Experience/daily usage of Microsoft Word, Access, Excel, and Powerpoint is required.
