General Dynamics is seeking professional and highly motived candidates for Infrastructure Engineer positions in support of Distributed Common Ground System – Navy (DCGS-N). These positions require a high technical level of understanding in planning, developing, and implementation of system infrastructure to support a resilient and secure, fully operational environment of Fleet Capability Releases (FCR) 1 and 2. Qualified candidates should possess knowledge and experienced in the following:


    Configure systems following Department of Defense (DoD) Certification and Accreditation (C&A) guidance and perform C&A assessments to evaluate compliance with established cyber security policies and regulations.Assist with conducting Security Testing & Evaluation (ST&E) for enclave and system accreditations and provide corrective actions to resolve or mitigate vulnerabilities that are identified.Plan, develop and implement strategies to keep the infrastructure fully operational and scalable.Develop, configure and troubleshoot automation modules, scripts, and play books to deploy software within DCGS-N.Install, configure, and troubleshoot deployments of Navy Tactical Cloud Reference Implementation (TCRI), Agile Core Services (ACS), and other Science & Test (S&T) performer software releases developed for DCGS-N.Have the ability to develop and use a variety of automation tools in provisioning, installation, configuration, and monitoring in support of system architecture design.Provide engineering guidance based on DoD and industry Security Best Business Practices, security requirements and cyber security trends and solutions to include risk assessments and mitigations. Have the ability to work in an independent role while also maintaining the flexibility of performing in a large collaborative environment.Have the flexibility to understand and adapt to changing Cyber Security inspection criteria


Education Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline. ,

Qualifications 10-15 years of related systems engineering experience.



    5-7 Years experience working with multi-tiered web-based applications or service-oriented architecture7-10 Years Systems engineer related experience

Desired Qualifications:


    Experience with / comprehensive training with Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or CFEngineFamiliar with Public Key Infrastructure in a DoD environmentFamiliar with the install, configuration, and maintenance of relational databases such as Postgres, MySQL, and OracleFamiliar with the install, configuration, and troubleshooting of web application servers such as Apache Tomcat, JBoss Enterprise Application Platform (EAP), IBM Websphere, or Oracle Weblogic Server
Required Qualifications:

    CompTIA Security+ CertificationMicrosoft/Linux Operating System Industry standard Certification
