General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is looking for a Principal level Systems Administrator to lead a team that provides System Administration support for a wide variety of classified and unclassified Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) networks supporting a US Government Customer over a wide geographic region. The selected candidate will be responsible for system administration of physical and virtual server and network infrastructures as well as installation and configuration of databases, storage area networks, and cloud infrastructures.

Specific job duties include:

    Design and build of server operating systems (Windows/Linux)Virtualization of existing server infrastructuresMaintenance of Active DirectoryConfiguration Management
Education Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

    Secret
Certifications

    IAT Level III Certification [Certified Information Security Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), GIAC Security Expert (GSE), or Security Certified Network Architect (SCNA)]Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MSCE) or equivalent
Required Skills

    8 to 10 years of experienceAbility to build and configure servers without supervisionAbility to design server infrastructure to meet customer requirements
Desired Skills

    Knowledge of ITIL processes and ITIL CertificationKnowledge of database administration and server virtualizationPrior work on large, geographically disperse networksExperience with the IAVM process
