General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) is looking for multiple candidates to provide System Administration support for a wide variety of classified and unclassified Research, Development, Test, and Evaluation (RDT&E) networks supporting a US Government Customer over a wide geographic region. The selected candidates will be responsible for basic system administration of physical and virtual server and network infrastructures. The personnel will also gain exposure to a wide variety of database, storage area network, mobile, and cloud infrastructures, mentoring under senior administrators.

Specific job duties include:

    Basic installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software Maintain Directory Services for end-users and assist with permissions, account access, and other similar concernsMaintenance of network infrastructure
Education Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.

Qualifications Clearance Level

    Secret
Certifications

    IAT Level II Compliance [Security+ CE, GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC), Security Certified Network Professional (SCNP) or System Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)]Microsoft Certified Professional, Network+ or other entry level certification
Required Skills

    1 to 3 years of helpdesk or direct customer support experience
Desired Skills

    Knowledge of ITIL processesKnowledge of database administration and server virtualization
