Pharamcist, Clincial Specialist
Provides pharmaceutical care to assigned patients and provides clinical oversight to all subordinate pharmacists, pharmacy residents and students. Conducts American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) continuing education classes and serves as a lecturer for pharmacy students. Reviews, discusses, and classifies all drug information responses completed by subordinate pharmacists. Baccalaureate or Pharm D. degree from an accredited college of pharmacy and residency is required. A Clinical Pharmacist with four years of clinical pharmacy experience including patient education; or a Pharm. D. with two years of clinical experience. Licensure as a Pharmacist in the District of Columbia or eligibility for reciprocity is required.
