We are currently seeking a Senior Manager of Consumer Marketing at our Community Support Office located in McLean, Va. The position will be responsible for optimizing the company’s brand positioning and customer experience throughout North America and the UK to help ensure the products and services resonate with current and potential customers.

Primary Responsibilities include:
  • Leading the customer experience survey program at Sunrise; managing the survey administration, analyzing results and championing action plans throughout the organization to realize improvements.
  • Collaborating with business leaders across Sunrise to refine operational standards and introduce new programs to drive a positive customer experience for residents and their families.
  • Building strong relationships with customers through engaging campaigns to benefit brand equity and increase referrals.
  • Developing and executing marketing programs that increase Sunrise’s brand identity and awareness, as well as drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Analyzing how Sunrise’s brands are positioned in the market and formalizing targeted customer insights; translating the brand strategies into go-to-market plans and positioning.
  • Continuously monitor market trends and consumer research, as well as analyzing the competition to determine opportunities to ensure brand differentiation and growth throughout Sunrise or in key markets.
  • Serving as a Sunrise brand champion safeguarding standards and confirming compliance throughout the organization to build long-term brand equity.
  • Acting as a strategic counselor to the Sales and Operations teams, advising on pro-active integrated marketing campaigns, messaging and tactics to support markets and programs in North America and the UK.
  • Partnering with all members of the Marketing team – both traditional and online – to develop, implement and execute marketing initiatives including campaigns, events, corporate social responsibility and sponsorships.
  • Measuring and analyzing the impact of marketing activities to ensure successful outcomes, enact changes, where appropriate, and set future direction.
  • Requirements include:
    • Bachelor’s degree, and experience in real estate or hospitality industry preferred
    • At least 5-7 years of marketing experience
    • Experience as brand manager, and creating and executing marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement
    • Highly creative with ability to think out of the box
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Up-to-date with latest trends and marketing best practices
    • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently, setting and meeting performance objectives
    • Accountable for effective communications and active listening, willing to adapt, adjust and be supportive when objectives shift
    • Strong initiative and ability to handle multiple projects/roles in an evolving environment both individually and within a team
    • Resilient, with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain high levels of professionalism while managing multiple demands
