The purpose of this position is to serve as a Mobile Program Director within the University Information Services (UIS) Enterprise Services branch and to primarily manage Georgetown's mobile presence as well as other projects as assigned. Key Responsibilities for this position include developing mobile strategies, managing the campus-wide mobile platform, developing and executing tactical plans to onboard new mobile capabilities in response to industry trends, customer feedback and analytics. The position works with stakeholder across the university including advancement, communications, facilities, and the office of student affairs, auxiliary services and the campus Dean's offices to deliver an integrated experience for 35+ mobile app capabilities. In addition, the position works closely with senior UIS leadership to achieve the mobile first strategy across UIS offerings, achieve security goals through mobile device management, and integrate legacy applications.

In addition to the technological skills required, the candidate must be able to successfully partner with our user community to uncover and implement the most highly prized features and rich user experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The selected candidate must also partner with student developers, primarily in the MBA program and The Corp, to enable the development of 'breakthrough' applications without undue risk to our systems and data.

The principal accountabilities for this position are as follows:

·Manage Georgetown Mobile Program.

The selected candidate is expected to manage and maintain the GU Mobile Platform, including administration of Kurogo, LiveSafe, DoubleMap, CampusQuad, LaundryAlert, DoubleDutch; data source integration, upgrades, performance and functional monitoring, testing, and analytics. The Mobile Program Director Manager also manages schedules, client contacts, budgetary and revenue spreadsheets, bug list, issue list and completion criteria as well as new launches and on-boarding projects, including defining mobile experience objectives with stakeholders.

·Mobile Strategy and Leadership.

The candidate is expected to identify opportunities to develop mobile experiences to improve customer experience. The Mobile Program Director also facilitates and closely coordinates with a mobile governance body to communicate goals, solicit feedback, and ensures mobile initiatives are meaningful and impactful for the greater campus. The selected candidate must also stay apprised of the latest mobile technology trends and best practices both inside and outside of the higher education industry.

Minimum Requirements:

·Bachelors degree. Master's highly desirable.

·Five years of relevant experience with a master's degree or ten years of experience with a Bachelors degree.

·Experience with the education sector is highly desirable.

·Relevant experience includes the following for developing innovative mobile applications serving large and diverse customer bases:

·Full lifecycle product management

·Project management

·Proactive product and program strategies

·Analysis based on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

·Proactive user experience and feedback

·Native mobile technologies

·Business planning

Technical Qualifications or Specialized Certification:

·Native iOS and Android application development, launch, and maintenance.

·Data integration using RSS, XML, JSON, RESTful APIs, SOAP, WSDL

·In-depth understanding of data combination, analysis, and collection techniques.

Other Skills:

·Must have strong business skills related to technology innovation, speed to market, embracing new technologies in an enterprise rather than point solution manner.

·Strong project management to manage fast release and launch schedules.

·Excellent interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders.
