Shift: Thursday through Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 1pm-11pm

POSITION OVERVIEW

A rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial technology company, is seeking a motivated Network Operations Support Associate who wants to be part of a fast-paced, rapidly growing team. Network Operations Support Associates are responsible for assisting with processes and scheduling for the NOC Support Specialists. Network Operations Support Associates are also responsible for the monitoring the health, security and availability of our 24/7 network operations centers. Shifts may include regular business hours and/or evenings, weekends and holiday coverage.

RESPONSIBILTIES

The NOC Support Associate's primary job responsibilities will include:

Proactively monitoring network and applications stability and performance to ensure 24x7 operations and availability
Addressing and resolving service impacting events as they occur in a timely manner
Actively troubleshooting and/or escalating events and incidents
Handling trouble calls and working closely with internal teams and external service providers and vendors to resolve service issues
Validating problem descriptions and performing detailed problem diagnosis, then tracking and updating problems in trouble-ticketing system
Analyzing incidents and creating Incident Reports
24x7 shift rotation work, including after-hours, weekends and holiday coverage
Assisting the NOC Support Shift Lead in processes and scheduling

REQUIREMENTS

Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills
Process-oriented with ability to pay close attention to details
Ability to work independently with little supervision
At least 1 years of work experience
Excellent written/oral communication and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated, self-starter with ability to operate under minimal supervision
Strong technical/computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word)
Strong quantitative, analytical, and critical thinking skills
Willingness to learn new skills and tools and flexibility to accept a wide range of responsibilities in our small company, entrepreneurial environment
An interest in technology
A plus if candidate has:
Prior experience in network or technical operations
Prior experience in a support related position
Prior experience in supporting a mission critical function
Prior experience working evening and weekends shifts
Associates degree, Bachelors degree or certifications
