Systems Administrator (Linux)-Must have Active Secret Clearance

Subcontractor personnel shall demonstrate an autonomous self-starting work ethic, be able to work independently, follow tasks through to the end, demonstrate flexibility when dealing with changing priorities and deadlines, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate the ability to address multiple high-priority requirements simultaneously. Subcontractor personnel shall demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and good administrative/organizational skills.

Associate Information Technology Consultant. * Significant accomplishment as an expert in large integrated systems. Experience with several ADP architectures and platforms in an integrated environment. Stays current with advances in information technology. Assists in the analysis of current and projected service maintenance personnel and facility requirements. Designs interfaces to allow incompatible equipment to function as a unified system.

*Minimum Qualification: Significant accomplishment as an expert in large integrated systems. Experience with several ADP architectures and platforms in an integrated environment.

Certification Requirements: COMPTIA SECURITY+ - SYSTEM SECURITY (COMPTIA)

Security Clearance Requirements: Secret

Experience Requirements: Ideal candidate will have mastery of the following technical areas:

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux
  • Unix Scripting (shell/perl)
  • TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, SSL/TLS
  • Web Server (Apache/IIS)
  • Enterprise Patching
  • SELinux
  • Security and Hardening

Working knowledge and experience with the following:

  • Unix File Services (Samba/NFS)
  • Firewalls
  • IP Routing
  • Windows Server 2008 R2
  • Enterprise Backup
  • Enterprise Monitoring

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIGS)
  • Unix Centralized Naming Services (NIS, NIS+, LDAP)
  • Storage Area Networking

  • Active Directory including Group Policy, LDAP backend and Replication
  • Windows Server 2012 R2
  • Public Key Infrastructure
  • VMWare vSphere
  • VMware vCloud
  • Windows Scripting (powershell, vbscript, or c#)
  • Current knowledge of DoD Ports, Protocols, and Services (PPS)
  • Disaster Recovery
  • High Availability and Load Balancing
