Project Manager, Clinical Programs

The main purpose of this role is to accomplish Physician Networks project objectives by planning, implementing and overseeing project activities related to Adventist Healthcare's strategic goal of improved partnership with physicians, physician practice operations optimization and development of expertise in population-based care. The Project Manager will be responsible for facilitation of the Physician Networks objectives by helping planning and designing project plans, overall monitoring and communication of those project plans to all involved, actively engaging in operational oversight of project plans and reviewing project success after completion of each project.

Mid-Atlantic ACO and applicable Boards and Committees
Adventist Clinically Integrated Network IPA and applicable Boards and Committees
Adventist Medical Group ABH and Pulmonary Divisions
Shady Grove Women's Care Center
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Contributing and managing information and recommendations for specific Physician Networks projects and strategic plans; action plans based on the required project goals; implementing production and completion of those goals; managing the completion of the project in terms of productivity, quality, and patient-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits of projects after completion; identifying trends in the Population Health arena to contribute to new initiatives; determining system improvements within relevant projects.
Updating the general job knowledge for the Physician Network division by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
Enhancing department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Overall managing of the reporting and communication infrastructure necessary for initiative
Acting as liaison with AHC senior leadership and appropriate outside entities for successful management of initiatives
Bachelor's degree required with Masters preferred
3 years progressive practice management experience in project management in a clinically related or population health related position
IPA/ACO/Population Health experience preferred
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work well in team-based management approach
Excellent interpersonal, communication and analytical skills
Ability to assume responsibility and exercise authority over assigned work func
