Monitor Technician - Telemetry Center
The Monitor technician works under the direction of the department director to perform telemetry monitoring duties associated with clinical nursing. The Monitor technician is responsible for observing, communicating and documenting the patient's rhythm and other duties related to the monitoring of patient on telemetry. One must be able to organize and handle a multiple task environment while maintaining excellent customer service skills and a calm demeanor.
A. Minimum high school diploma or GED.
EKG Certification preferred. .
B. Strong communication and organization skills required.
C. Required Basic Dysrhythmia test and passing score
D. Strong customer service skills.
Flexible schedule to work 12 hour shifts part time day and/ or evenings and/ or nights with two weekend rotations a month.
