Bring your passion for nursing and your experience (1 year) as a Med/Surg Registered Nurse to Adventist HealthCare Shady Grove Medical Center - located in the heart of Montgomery County, Maryland (just outside of Washington DC).
We are excited to offer you the opportunity to become a Nurse on our 32 bed Inpatient Med/Surg Stroke unit. Shady Grove Medical Center has been awarded the Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award with Target Stroke: Honor Roll Elite Plus from the American Heart Association (AHA) and has achieved designation as Primary Stroke Center by the Maryland Institute of Emergency Medical Services and Systems (MIEMSS) for our expert delivery of high quality stroke programs.
In addition to the year of Med/Surg nursing experience, you will need to be licensed as a RN in the state of Maryland (or other Nurse Licensure Compact state) and have your American Heart Association BLS certification. Ideally, we would like you to have your BSN and be a Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN).
Limited Part-time Night shift (7pm- 7am), including weekends.
