Treasury Services (TS) at Adventist HealthCare, Inc (AHC) oversees corporate cash, investments, and debt. In addition, TS manages other peripheral functions such as credit card acceptance and processing and unclaimed property filing. The Treasury Analyst position is entry level and will support the functions of the TS team by posting daily cash to the General Ledger, preparing electronic payments processed by TS, working closely with the organizations credit card processor, and preparing cash and check deposits. The Treasury Analyst will also be responsible for the organizations unclaimed property filing process every year.

The Treasury Analyst will work with the TS team and will support daily treasury functions by posting incoming and outgoing bank transactions (cash posting) to the General Ledger and compiling monthly bank activity files for the entity finance and accounting staff. The Treasury Analyst will research unidentified transactions and ensure they are allocated to the correct entity and must work closely with Patient Financial Services in the daily cash posting process.

Other daily tasks include uploading bank reports into the organizations accounting system and into the banking system.

Weekly Tasks

The Treasury Analyst will prepare ACH and wire transfers in accordance with the TS payment calendar. This task requires meeting important deadlines, reviewing ACH/Wire information for accuracy, and clear communication skills.

Other weekly tasks include 1) checking the TS email inbox and responding to any inquiries or requests and 2) preparing bank deposits and processing via remote deposit capture or delivering to the bank.

Annual Tasks

The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for the Unclaimed Property filing every year. This project requires working with Accounts Payable, Payroll, and the corporate accounting team.

The Treasury Analyst will also support the Treasury Project Manager with the annual PCI Compliance questionnaire.

Other Tasks

The Treasury Analyst will work very closely with the organizations credit card processor and will assist the users with log in issues, new user set ups, user maintenance issues, etc. The Treasury Analyst will be familiar with the credit card processing system and help train other users when needed. The Treasury Analyst will work with the Treasury Project Manager on various process improvements in this area and will provide support with the annual PCI Compliance Questionnaire Process.

The Treasury Analyst should be open to taking on additional responsibilities, tasks, or projects as the Treasury Project Manager requests. Treasury Services will evolve over time with new banking technologies, payment processing, etc and the Treasury Analyst position is a dynamic position that may change based on the needs of the department. Other tasks may include Journal Entry processing, electronic payment processing, and ad-hoc financial reporting.


Bachelors in Science in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration from an accredited university.

Clear speaking and writing skills in English.

1-3 years relevant experience.

Strong Excel, Power Point, and MS Word skills.
