Hughes networks systems, part of Echostar, provides managed network services to more than 30,000 end points in multiple verticals including Retail, Restaurants, financial  and Energy sectors.

We are looking for a Product Manager who will be responsible HughesON managed services for Wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) and Security services.  This position works closely with Product Engineers, Marketing, and Sales to set the vision and drive revenues for these services.  The ideal candidate is someone who has experience in a product management role and a passion for building great products that customers love.  They will use data and metrics to evaluate problems and advocate for approaches.  They will bring energy and domain expertise to help crack complex business problems.

Responsibilities:Continuously assess customer needs, technology trends, and major competitorsGather feature requirements from key customers (end customers, product marketing, and sales organization) for designing new products and servicesDevelop and maintain strategic product roadmap and priorities.  Communicate to internal and external stakeholdersBecome recognized as the internal expert on servicesPartner with marketing teams to develop product positioning and collateralsWrite product briefs and specifications, and collaborate with design, launch management, engineering and marketing teams to drive new product initiativesCommunicate your product vision and priorities for expansion to internal and external stakeholdersAssume ownership of all product deliverables throughout all phases of the Product Life CycleManage third-party developers and partners, along with influencing future product feature planning with strategic partnersDevelop internal and external presentations as the face of your productSupport sales teams as subject matter expert on key opportunities

Basic Requirements:B.S in Electrical/Computer engineering is required5+ years work experience in a product management rolePreferred Qualifications:Security and/or WLAN (Wi-Fi) technical experience highly preferredDemonstrated track record of product development and management - from initial concept, requirements gathering, development/deployment planning, implementation, launch, testing, analysis, iteration, to end-of-life planningAbility to demonstrate creative problem solving, thoughtful product scoping, and flexibility in a fast-moving environmentExcellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skillsProven experience working with large cross-functional team, coordinating many stakeholders and making strategic product decisionsAbility to work effectively with engineering to set realistic goals and stay on trackMBA a plusCISSP/ WLAN Certification preferredTravel upto 20%
