Enterprise Team Lead-Lab
Analyst in this role will be acting as a Clinical Systems Analyst executing project team tasks in support of the design, build, test, train and go-live of Adventist HealthCare Care Excellence projects. Analyst will also manage the EMR Interfaces between Sunquest and Cerner.
Alias build and Maintenance of `Sunquest to Cerner and `Quest to Sunquest Interfaces
Gen Lab, set up NTE and validate as needed on Cerner
POC as needed
o Provide point to point testing validation and documentation from Cerner to Sunquest, Sunquest to Cerner and if Non Micro Ref Lab needs to be included
Room and Bed Master creation for all facilities as needed
Integration and Unit Testing all Entity/Lab Interfaces
o Result Lab, Micro, Blood Bank, Micro and POC.
o Create ticket with Quest to result Non Micro orders
o As new functionality is added, update Regression Test Plan
o Billing for Cerner and Quest Antrim Micro
o CoPath Coordinate testing with System Manager
Maintain Sunquest Test environment
o Sunquest MA functionality
o Sunquest HMA functionality
Specimen Barcode Label Testing, monitoring and troubleshooting
Process Sunquest IT Managers Test Spreadsheet requests in a timely manner.
Participate in IT event testing and document issues in Remedy and or Method M
Access to Sunquest Empower system to open tickets
On Call Rotation
Attends OCIO meetings as directed
Communicate and provide updates on projects to Sunquest IT Manager
3 - 5 years working as analyst with Sunquest and Cerner
Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Computer Science or related field.
Med/Lab Tech background
Experience with SunQuest LIS system version v7.1
Experience with Sunquest Interface Aliasing build and maintenance.
Experience with Unit Testing and System Validation processes.
Experience with HL7 interface support including ADT, Orders, Results, Billing
and log files.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with Cerner Millennium applications is a plus, especially Power Chart.
Experience with site's workflows for all areas of operation as it pertains to Lab, Micro, BB, POC and Pathology orders.
Experience with project planning, leading and executing across the enterprise.
Self-motivated quick learner able to troubleshoot and escalate with minimal direction
Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously
Strong planning skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills sufficient to work effectively and collaboratively with a diverse workforce and staff of varying technical expertise.
Ability to present and discuss tasks, project and status information to management, the department and also to other departments within the organization.
