A high school diploma or GED is required but a degree in psychology or related field would benefit in this role.
One year of experience in security is required preferably in a behavioral health setting.
This incumbent would be responsible for the safe, orderly and therpautic physical environment for out patients, staff, visitors, physicians and volunteers.
Added responsibilities are as follows:
Apply appripriate de-escalation techniques.
Provide superior customer service skills.
Ensure quality outcomes for our patients and safety and security by communicating effectively with all departments and with the public.
foster group cohesiveness among various departments and portray a positive image of the organizaiton.
This is a full time position working 5 days per week with weekends included. The hours are from 11 am - 7 pm. This is a benefited position with an exceptional benefit package. Salary is commensurate with experience.
