ADVENTIST HEALTHCARE Behavioral Health and Wellness is seeking a day shift 8 am - 4 pm Charge Nurse to be responsible for:
Developing, implementing and evaluating a plan of care utilizing the ANA Standards of Nursing Practice. Delegates and assists the RN's and techs appropriately in implementing patient care. Provides support, information, education, and direct patient care to patients and family members. Utilizes equipment, technology and evidence based nursing practice. Educates patients, significant caregivers on medical and self-care issues. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Collaborates with Team members and health care providers to meet the patients personal, physical, psychological, spiritual and cognitive needs.
Administers medications safely and accurately in accordance with hospital policy and procedures.
Establishes realistic rehabilitation goals with the patient, family and multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.
Directs and provides patient care including appropriate documentation and use of clinical supplies.
Demonstrates leadership and professionalism in the provision patient care.
Accountable for professional development and promotes peer growth.
Upholds the RISES standards with self, staff and stakeholders.
Provides appropriate education to stakeholders based on identified learning needs.
Actively participates in unit/ department goals and objectives.
This is a full time non exempt, benefited position working an 8 am - 4:30 pm shift and every other weekend.
