Qualifications include:

A Psy.D. or Ph.D in Psychology with a speciality in clinical psychology.

A one year formal clinical psychology internship must be completed.

Demonstrated expertise in the use of psychological evaluation procedures is required.

Knowledge of psychological disorders from infancy through adulthood is essential.

Training and supervised experience with a wide variety of clinical psychology treatment modalities is required in addition to supervised experience providing psychotherapeutic services.


The clinical psychologist must be capable of making independent clinical decisions regarding diagnosis and treatment at the same time acknowledging when a particularly complex case requires either clinical supervision or consultation. The therapist must have expertise in teaching theoretical approaches and diagnostic and treatment procedures used in providing mental health services. The therapist must be able to collaborate on an interdisciplinary team in determining a diagnostic understanding and appropriate treatment plan. Experience in providing psychiatric assessments for hospitalized patients and working collaboratively with other treatment providers is preferred. The therapist must have skills in oral and written presentation of diagnostic findings, progress updates and treatment plans. Independent nature of the position requires excellent time management skills. The ability to identify the patient's and families concerns and address their needs in the therapeutic process is essential. The clinical psychologist must keep abreast of advances in the field and regularly share new information with colleagues.

Monday through Friday 7am - 3 pm
