Critical Care Crisis Nurse Coordinator
Provides professional nursing care to the critical care patient population as well as leadership, direction and coordination to improve quality of care and service consistent with organizational mission and objectives. The Critical Care Crisis Nurse independently plans coordinates, and directs those activities essential to the provision of quality nursing care for assigned patients. The Critical Care Crisis Nurse Coordinator, coordinates the medical plan provided by the support service departments relating to assigned patient. Identifies and implements nursing interventions and evaluates results for specific emergency treatments. The actions and attitudes of the critical care crisis nurse promote and support the hospital mission and values.
*Current Maryland RN license
*One (1) year supervisory or management experience in an acute care, critical care setting
*Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in an ICU/CCU/CVICU or MSICU.
*BLS/CPR & ACLS certifications
*Strong verbal and written skills in English, including communication skill that promote interpersonal relations and customer service.
*Strong leadership and organizational skills.
*Ability to demonstrate professionalism in all interactions and activities
*Computer proficiency in HIS, windows and internet environments, and Microsoft Suite applications.
*Ability to problem-solve, manage conflict and difficult situations.
