Transfusion RN - Float Pool
Provides care of patients in an Outpatient Infusion Treatment Center. Administers chemotherapy treatments and blood transfusions. Educates patients and care givers on significant self-care issues. Works closely with physicians regarding completeness and correct dosing of orders.
*Current Maryland RN license
*Current ACLS and BLS/CPR certifications
*Minimum of two years Hospital Critical Care Step-down or Vent patient nursing experience
*IV Therapy skills
*Ability to work independently and multitask
*Must be flexible and able to stay until last patient has completed treatment
*Willing to float where needed when transfusion patient census low
Full-time, benefits eligible
Shift: Day (6:45 AM to 7:15 PM)
Weekends: Every Other
