Role in Company

            • Preparing items to use on the line and fulfilling orders as received
            • Maintaining food quality and keeping up to the standards of District Taco

            Core Responsibilities

            •  Following District Tacos safe food handling practices when preparing, cooling and storing food
            •  Organizing all food storage areas such that the first items received will be the first used
            •  Returning equipment and ingredients to proper storage locations
            •  Maintaining a clean work area and cleaning equipment between each use
            •  Affixing Day Dots to containers when products will be used at a later time
            •  Using basic kitchen equipment safely
            •  Inspecting ingredients before use to ensure quality
            •  Disposing of all food that does not meet safety and quality standards immediately
            •  Following recipes as written with accurate measurements
            •  Preparing and pre-portioning various sauces in designated containers
            •  Alerting superiors when more prepped items are needed
            •  Maintaining quality by periodically sampling products at various stages of production
            •  Following portioning guidelines when preparing orders
            •  Reviewing ticket details and alerting a manager if any issues arise
            •  Understanding dietary restrictions and the procedures to follow to avoid cross-contamination
            •  Inspecting presentation of finished product when readying orders for the food runner
            •  Addressing any concerns with the help of supervisors
            •  Providing support to fellow employees to ensure completion of tasks outside of basic responsibilities
