Front Desk Agent
A small boutique hotel located in Baltimore is looking for a front desk agent to coordinate guest service operations
The front desk agent registers guests and assigns rooms, assists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms. Coordinates room status updates with housekeeping and maintenance departments Resolves guest complaints to the satisfaction of the guest; responds promptly to any guest service request. Posts and files all charges to guest, master, and city ledger accounts. Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit, check-cashing, and cash-handling policies and procedures
Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Experience: Previous hotel-related experience desired.
Physical: Requires finger dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, hearing, visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
