This position is located in the Office of Superintendent of Documents, Library Services Content Management, Technical Services, in Washington, DC 

The selectee will work shift 1 and have a tour of duty of 8:30 am -5 pm 

The Chief of Library Technical Services (LTS) oversees one of three organizational units in Library Services and Content Management (LSCM) at the U.S. Government Publishing Office (GPO).  Incumbent will be responsible for the management and administration, strategic planning, development, deployment of all library technical services functions for Federal Government information resource lifecycle management in a rapidly changing environment.  This includes acquisitions, classification, bibliographic and metadata creation, web harvesting and archiving, and preservation services for GPO's Information Dissemination Programs; the Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP), the Cataloging and Indexing Program (C&I), the International Exchange Services (IES), the By-Law Program.  These programs are authorized by U.S.C. Title 44.
