​Consultant with five to seven years management consulting, Information Assurance, or DoD Cyber experience, including five years direct IT project management experience. This position will be working with the US Coast Guard clients to ensure enterprise IT projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities Include:

  • ​Facilitate and support development of Project Management-related strategies and action plans 
  • Develop and maintain work breadown structures, project plans, and / or integrated master schedules as required by project scope
  • Use project management information systems to support ongoing project management efforts 
  • Lead and facilitate client meetings and exercises 
  • Identify strategies for automating and implementing efficient work management processes 
  • Map complex business processes and communicating processes solutions to the client 
  • Create and present project status briefings and reports 
  • Develop, consolidate, and organize project artifacts including charters, agendas, minutes, correspondence, process guides, and technical documentation
  • Additional activities include participating in program management working sessions and supporting program managers in executing day-to-day project management activities to include the pending introduction of a MS-based project management information system (PMIS)

Qualifications Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, project management, or a related field. MBA is a plus
  • Management consulting experience required, with at least five years in project management
  • Familiarity with MS Project 2010, MS Project Server 2010, and MS Project Web Access
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing project management methodologies (processes, best practices, tools, and templates) 
  • Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills 
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and in team settings to include close collaboration with program managers 
  • Proven ability to support multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven process 
  • Experience in building and managing client relationships
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Visio
  • Experience with DoD Information Assurance polices and processes, and /or Command Cyber Readiness Inspections a plus 
  • PMP certification desired
  • US Coast Guard or Dept of Defense experience desired
  • Clearance: DoD Secret or above
