Student Health Mid Level Practitioner

The Office of Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs (AA) is currently for a Student Health Mid Level Practitioner. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, provides appropriate health education on nutrition, family planning, exercise, sexual health, cardiovascular disease, etc to patients. Provides consultation and advice as well as medical follow-up to students by telephone when appropriate. Assumes the management of patients with acute and/or chronic stabilized illnesses under supervision of a physician.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus current District of Columbia Nurse Practitioner License or District of Columbia Physician Assistant License.
  • Must have graduated from an approved course of Nurse Practitioner study or Physician Assistant program.
  • Minimum of one year experience working in a health care setting required.
