ASCD has an exciting opportunity for a Project Coordinator to support multiple programs, projects, and services for the Constituent Services Work Group. Primary functions include end-to-end planning, coordinating, and implementing multiple, high-level meetings, conferences, award programs, and events. This position provides value to the organization by serving as a leader and mentor to project coordinators within the work group and helping them use standard project management methodologies in their work.   In this role, the ideal candidate will:             Coordinate complex logistics for high-level meetings, including production of high-quality events including an annual leadership conference and an annual Leadership Appreciation Luncheon.             Develop and manage unit and team collaboration and information sharing sites to provide integrated access to unit content for appropriate audiences.            Coordinate the implementation of a range of complex projects (awards, grants, and other significant programs) end-to-end and coordinates the development of high-profile program materials.             Design and develop the systems and reports for evaluating effectiveness of programs.             Work closely with Chief Constituent Services Officer and other work group leaders to track individual program financial records.             Monitor and analyzes budget information and key performance indicators for enhancement of programs, products, and services.             Support selected constituent services programs by identifying, creating, and implementing new processes or procedures for working more efficiently, particularly through the use of technology.            Participate collaboratively on work group and organization-wide teams.            Provides general support to the Chief Constituent Services Officer, including maintaining business calendar, scheduling meetings, creating agendas, and ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of the budget. A successful candidate will typically have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study and three or more years of experience in complex work environments with evidence of increasing responsibility. Previous association experience and exposure to educational field is a plus. Proven project management experience such as development and successful implementation of project is essential. Experience administering web-based office applications for online collaboration, document/content management, and intranet management is a plus.
