Management Analyst for Federal Agency Headquarters in D.C.
We are actively seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Management Analyst with the Headquarters office of a leading Federal Government agency. As our employees at this agency are very highly regarded, we are looking to add an additional superstar who will exceed expectations for our government client in this career-growth opportunity.
Your primary responsibilities include, but not limited to, development of budget, presentations, reports, studies, policies & procedures, and administrative duties in support of large-scale Information Technology projects.
To be considered, you must have at a minimum, a bachelors degree (business or finance desired), and at least 4 to 6 years experience related to financial services/budgeting, project management or status reporting, with either a government agency or large corporate employer.
Additional requirements are as follows:
Working knowledge of the Federal Government budgeting and planning process or commercial general ledger practices.
Working knowledge of standard office environment procedures.
Working knowledge of accounting spreadsheet practices (setup and design).
Above average writing and verbal skills, as well as expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), some experience with Microsoft Project and SharePoint desired.
Ability to collect information from multiple sources and develop presentation materials (reports, PowerPoint presentations, etc.) in a professional manner.
Ability to meet with client (government) personnel and collect information related to financial performance and project progress.
Ability to multitask, meet short-term deadlines, and work in a challenging environment.
