Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA), seeking individual to support the development and execution of SIIA's Education Division business projects and programs.

Responsibilities include:
•Assists VP with strategic initiatives identified in conjunction with the Division Vice President and the Division Boards.
•Produces (with Ed Division Intern) the Education Newsletter and Ed Tech Daily and updates content on the Ed Division website
•Manages implementation of SIIA education surveys, webinars, Vision K-20 Initiative, Ed Industry Summit and Ed Business Forum, Innovation Incubator Program, and the One-to-One Business Connections Program
•Takes an active role in supporting current members, including facilitating committee work, networking and business opportunities, and addressing business issues.
•Works with all appropriate SIIA departments to coordinate the delivery and awareness of these services to maximize SIIA's interests.
•Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Minimum Requirements:

Undergraduate degree and user knowledge of Microsoft Office (Front Page is optional), three years work experience in managing projects and meeting deadlines, and demonstrated knowledge of the structure and business market of K-12 and Postsecondary education.  Knowledge of and experience with social media marketing tools and online CRM/association management system highly preferred.

Knowledge: The individual must have a combination of skills that includes: project management; highly effective communications and relationship management; and excellent writing and analysis skills. Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and work unsupervised, pay attention to detail, and function well in a team setting.

Experience:
Two to three years of experience in technology industry and/or project management.

With the leadership of the Division Board and collaborative efforts with educators and other stakeholders, the Division undertakes initiatives to enhance the use of educational technology and the success of SIIA members.
