Responsibilities: Organizes, prepares, and loads website content using a content management system (CMS) or secure ftp; regularly monitors the website in a proactive manner; creates new web pages, web sections and campaign landing pages; develops and implements web templates and modules that are consistent with the universitys visual brand standards and messaging; collaborates with the URM web team to create changes to design, layout, navigation, etc. to improve site usability, accessibility, and visibility; creates mock-ups of proposed major design/content changes for approval; inputs and maintains metadata to improve search engine optimization (SEO); sets up and maintains web campaign goals and reporting to Google Analytics; performs quality checks and content audits to identify content/functionality errors, poor user interface issues, etc; manages work requests within a tracking system and communicates with users; verifies all content is approved through proper channels prior to posting; migrates content from old website to new CMS as needed; assists the web team in developing a user guide and web style for university content producers; trains web administrators on guidelines and procedures for the ongoing management of web content; stays up-to-date on web and accessibility standards; regularly reviews and analyzes comparable higher education websites for trends and best practices.
SALARY: $48,000 - $54,000
