A SPARKS client has an immediate need for an Insurance Executive Account Manager. Our client is one of the largest independent insurance agencies in the Mid-Atlantic region, offering insurance coverage to both businesses and individuals throughout the United States and abroad. They have developed expertise in select industries: technology, non profit and social service organizations, government contractors, construction, restaurants, real estate & property management. This is an ideal Full Time, Direct Hire opportunity for an Executive Account Manager who has Insurance Industry experience and wants to work for a top-producing, collaborative team. Recent applicable knowledge of the Affordable Care Act, which has highly impacted the insurance industry, is preferred.

Responsibilities:
This position will service middle market to large clients to include:
• Develop and present financial reports to self-funded clients
• Reporting to the VP of Underwriting, assist with preparation of RFP and Marketing results presentations for all employee insurance benefit lines (stop loss and ancillary) with numerous carriers
• Manage the carrier implementation process for all employee benefit lines with numerous carriers
• Develop client-tailored Wellness programs with vendor
• Coordinate the workflow for clerical staff, clients and carriers
• Conduct open enrollment meetings as needed

Requirements:
• Applicable Insurance Industry experience to include thorough, recent Affordable Care Act (ACA) knowledge
• Advanced understanding of management systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with clients, companies, and prospects concerning employee benefit line of coverage
• Strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, responsive and self-motivated
• Ability to exercise strong judgment in analyzing, appraising, evaluating and solving problems of a difficult procedural, organizational, administrative or technical nature
• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in employee benefit account management
• Technical Skills to include: PC, calculator, agency automation system, and various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
