Job Summary:
A Northern Virginia based organization in the Restaurant Industry is looking for a top-notch Benefits Administrator for a temp-to-hire opportunity!

• The Benefits Administrator is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefit programs
o These programs include group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending plan, 401(k) plan and retirement plan
• Processes and tracks FMLA and ADA related claims for assigned areas and assists with ongoing FMLA/ADA training of managers
• Investigate new benefit programs, improve existing programs, supervise and monitor benefit administration
• Provide analytical and technical support in the delivery of the benefit programs
• Provides customer service support to internal and external customers and assists in developing communication tools to enhance the understanding of company's benefit package
• Audits the accuracy and performance of benefit functions

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED. College degree in HR related field preferred
• Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements both adopted and pending affecting employee benefit programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, SECTION 125, Worker's Compensation, Medicare and Social Security and DOL requirements
• Three+ years related benefits or employee benefits administration experience required
• A strong knowledge of Affordable Care Act legislation preferred
• Restaurant Industry experience is a plus
