·         Ensures that the facility operates efficiently and profitably. 

·         Creates and maintains a positive and professional work environment. 

·         Highly motivated professional, with proven ability to establish excellent working relationships with various team members. 

·         Maintain excellent relationships with the client and their guests. 

·         Operates within the budget and identifies new ways to improve the development of the business. 

·         Carries out training and development of all staff to enable them to carry out their own duties and responsibilities. 

·         Participates in employee meetings, reviews and development. 

·         Ensures compliance with proper sanitation and cleaning standards. 

·         Hires, trains and schedules staff and is actively involved in the development of existing associates in service techniques, menu presentation, policies, and procedures.

·         Menu development and marketing functions as they relate to the café.  Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.



·         Bachelor’s degree is preferred or equivalent professional experience. 

·         Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in hospitality industry. 

·         Experience with cash handling procedures. 

·         Strong knowledge of food.
