The Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) – A National Construction Trade Association in Arlington, VA - seeks a motivated and experienced individual for Database & Web Development position.  Responsibilities include: Managing, analyzing, improving and auditing the association management systems and all association databases; leading and directing all iMIS integration points projects; leading in the design, development and maintenance of general web architecture and web applications; participates in the day-to-day management of AGC’s web architecture and web applications; serves as association exert for all iMIS related issues, queries, enhancements, reports, data manipulations, etc.; develops the blueprint for application development and depicts how systems integrate with iMIS.

 

The successful candidate will be proficient in iMIS, [FF1]  Crystal, Microsoft SQL server.  Knowledge of .NET, Cold Fusion, HTML, a plusExperience with open source web software such as WordPress and Drupal desired. .     [FF2]   The individual will possess solid project management skills, sound verbal & written communication skills, strong attention to detail, high level of creativity, the ability to work independently and meet deadlines, strong people skills are necessary to deal effectively with problem-solving, brainstorming sessions and strategy development and an eagerness to learn and the motivation & ability to respond to multiple issues simultaneously.
