The Schools Systems Development Manager (SSDM) is accountable for providing system development plans and solutions that meet the current and future needs IB Schools Systems based on state-of-the-art technologies. The SSDM will manage and perform application development for Schools Systems-notably SalesForce--and leads multiple application development projects from conceptualization to launch. The role performs IT Leadership functions within the development projects, including defining the objectives, liaising with the relevant stakeholders/end users to identify scope of work, oversee quality control throughout the software development life cycle, acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of developers (both internally or externally through 3rd party vendors), in order to deliver applications or changes to applications t hat support the function of the Schools Systems division.

Job Duties:

*Exercise best in class process control
*Devise and implement quality assurance strategy
*Coordinate development planning
*Execute system deployment
*Drive flawless project execution
*Provide thought leadership and subject matter expertise on Schools Systems development methodologies, deliverables
*Manage development budgets efficiently and effectively
