Contractor shall provide system analysis, design, development, and testing for each system as directed by the Task Monitor and perform the following as appropriate:
·Provide operational maintenance and/or enhancements of the systems. System maintenance shall include, but not be limited to, creating new report formats, correcting software "bugs"(i.e. failure or fault), and enhancing system performance.
·Modify application source codes to accommodate ever-changing budget guidance from OUSD(C) leadership and the Office of Management and Budget.
·Modify application procedures to solve complex system issues/problems by taking into consideration the total system capacity and limitations, resources, and desired outcomes.
·Interface with users to diagnose performance and functionality problems, and prepare and implement appropriate system changes to resolve those problems.
·Under direction of a development lead, this position will be responsible for developing and maintaining a web-based application using C#, jQuery and Telerik Controls with an Oracle backend, in a very dynamic environment. Current development environment is Visual Studio 2010, moving to Visual Studio 2013. The position will also include client interface time, participation in meetings related to the application as needed, participating in code reviews and assisting with documentation as needed.
·Create and maintain Oracle package, functions and stored procedures required to support the applications developed
·Create and maintain PL/SQL code as required to support the creation/modification of tables, views and materialized views necessary to support the application
·Coordinate with DBAs regarding the installation and configuration of any scripts created required to support the applications
·DoD Secret clearance must be obtainable
·Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or related field) and 7-9 years of experience.
·7+ years development using C# and Microsoft Visual Studio
·7+ years developing Web Applications
·2+ years jQuery development
·5+ years .Net Web Services development
·2+ years PL/SQL development
·Ability to adapt quickly to a complex environment and handle multiple concurrent assignments.
·Participate in a small, experienced, energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule.
·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related area is preferred, but not required.
·Experience working with Telerik Ajax Controls
·1+ years SQL Server Reporting and/or Telerik Reporting experience
·Passionate about building high-quality systems with software implementation best practices
·Candidate should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills.
·Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
