The Chief Engineer will be responsible for defining and shaping the technical strategy for a high-visibility pursuit. Candidates will work across ongoing programs to mature technologies for remote exploitation capaiblities and will, in conjunction with our chief architect, define our technical solution for a large effort. Upon award, the chief engineer will be responsible for executing and meeting requirements on the program and will have ultimate resonsibility for engineering execution on the program.
The chief engineer will ensure applicable GDAIS Common Process Framwork processes and best practices are followed to ensure flawless execution on the program. Candidates will organize engineering activities, define internal deliverables and milestones and follow through with all technical deliverables on the program

Candidates must show a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of software systems and applications, and the ability to effectively manage, grow and evolve GDAIS software solutions.
The Senior Principal Software Engineer position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area or equivalent field and a minimum of ten years of related experience; or masters degree and a mimum of eight years of related experience.
Department of Defense TS/SCI security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Candidates must have demonstrated experience team leadership on large efforts.
