We are currently seeking an additional Marketing Manager to join our fun and talented team. This position will develop, implement, maintain and evaluate integrated and automated marketing programs and strategies across several of our core business units which could include Membership, ATD Publications & Press, Education & Training, Certification, Job Bank, and Conferences & Events. This position is also responsible for establishing targets and executing all email campaigns and marketing strategies associated with the appropriate business units. Responsible for all aspects of project management, works collaboratively with members of the marketing team, project managers from all departments, information technology and other key staff. This individual manages multiple priorities in a fast-paced, results-oriented, and deadline driven environment. The ideal candidate is forward thinking; has strong research and analytic capabilities, enjoys writing and enjoys high level client engagements. Experience with analytics, digital marketing and social media is required.

  • Strategize with business owners in establishing marketing plans with well-defined business objectives and metrics.
  • Analyze data findings to support and direct marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate brand messaging and brand consistencies across ATD business units.
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns for business development and website based programs.
  • Project manage client website development, posting online content, and analysis of campaigns and other metrics.
  • Design strategies utilizing of our current, prospective and international member’s data base.
  • Web site content, functionality, and design.
  • Develop ad copy designed to resonate with your audience
  • Develop appropriate marketing processes and procedure documentation.
  • Develop and execute successful social media and network programs with defined metrics.
  • Utilize analytics to track campaign budget, analyze results and develop action plans for campaign improvement.
  • Project management working with cross functional teams and individuals to accomplish goals, while maintaining a high level of client satisfaction.
  • BS in related area
  • Experience in a membership organization of any type is a big plus
  • 3+ years’ experience in marketing and interactive production/project management (with at least one year in online)
  • Experience implementing integrated marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of Internet marketing and e-commerce
  • Understanding of HTML, Adobe Creative Suite, Flash, JavaScript, DHTML, CSS
  • Proven organizational, project management, leadership and communication skills required
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Strong written and verbal communication
