Planned Systems International, a Government Contractor, has an immediate opportunity available for a Programmer/Analyst (C# & SQL).Net) to join our team, located in Fairfax, VA.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:
* He/she will be expected to perform the following tasks/functions and will work independently but with some guidance from senior staff.
* Writing and updating computer programs or software packages to handle specific jobs such as calculations, storing or retrieving data, or controlling other equipment as required. This involves creating, testing, maintaining, repairing, or enhancing programs per the specifications normally provided by other staff.
* Consulting with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes.
* Correcting errors by making appropriate changes and rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced.
* Conducting trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct.
* Compiling and writing documentation of program development and subsequent revisions, inserting comments in the coded instructions so others can understand the program.
* Preparing required documentation, including block diagrams, logic flow charts, and software program documentation.

Required Qualifications:
* Must meet one of the following in terms of education and experience:
* BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field and 2+ years of experience, solid including C# and SQL experience; Or 6 years of experience (including C# and SQL experience); Or an acceptable equivalent combination of related education/certifications and experience with C# and SQL.
* The above experience must demonstrate the ability and skills to:
* Conduct analysis, development, and maintenance of software in a supervised setting.
* Modify and create systems software and ensure systems efficiency and integrity.
* Test, debug, and refine the software to produce the required product.
* Translate detailed design into executable software.
* Work with Testers/Information Assurance Analyst to address program and/or security findings.
 Basic knowledge in graphic design and Web animation.
* Experience working in Microsoft environment.
* Knowledgeable of Entity Framework.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with and presenting findings to project and task team members, customers, management, and support personnel.
* Good organization and time management skills.
* Must be flexible and dependable and able to manage and handle change.
* Position requires U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain clearance or pass an extensive client background investigation.
