Manager, Member Services
Great opportunity for an association professional to develop and implement a membership recruitment and retention plan for an industry on the rebound. Key duties include supporting local affiliates around the country, and scouting out best places to develop new ones. This position will create plans for supporting new affiliates, and create products and services to support established affiliates and foster growth. Position will enhance the knowledge, appreciation and value of membership through a combination of communications and marketing efforts and will provide management oversight of the National Sales and Marketing Council Sales Central, a marquee program at the International Builders Show.
Successful candidates will be able to manage multiple job priorities, work under pressure and work collaboratively with department staff and member volunteers. They will have strong written and verbal communication skills and pay attention to detail. Must be able to demonstrate initiative, creative problem-solving and resourcefulness. Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Internet. Knowledge of database management desired.
Seeking a minimum of four years experience in a professional environment, preferably in member/membership services or marketing and experience developing membership recruitment and retention plans. Association background and knowledge of homebuilding industry preferred. Ability to work independently as well as in a team on many ongoing projects. Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Relations or Marketing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.Apply to: NAHB.org/jobs
