The Assistant Director of Bond Management will have the responsibility of managing the financial aspects of the HOC Bond Program and full responsibility for the Single Family Mortgage Purchase Program under the supervision of the Director of Mortgage Finance and Real Estate. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the review analysis and reporting on debt instruments including taxable and tax-exempt bonds, derivatives MBS, multifamily loans and other investments. The incumbent is responsible for monitoring, measuring and projecting cash flow from all assigned transactions and recommending investment decisions for program funds. The position plays a key role in the analysis of multifamily real estate to be selected for acquisition, development and financing. The employee will coordinate and supervise the activities the Single Family Program staff to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity in the delivery of mortgages to individuals of eligible income and expand and enhance the relationship with new and existing leaders. The incumbent is responsible for the adherence to Single Family Program rules and compliance with FHA regulations, RESPA, loan settlement procedures, mortgage, servicing procedure, among other requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

·         Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate or Public Policy. Master’s degree preferred. 

·         Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a combination of real estate, finance, mortgage or investment banking and multifamily development and project management.

·         Requires experience in major national real estate markets.

·         Requires supervisory experience involving professional level employees.
