Patient Access Representative
Commonwealth Orthopaedics has an exciting opportunity for full-time and part-time experienced patient access representative for the Centralized Call Center. The Patient Access Representative provides exceptional patient service by answering, responding, and routing a high volume of incoming calls from patients, physicians, hospitals, staff and other callers. He/she ensures a positive first impression of Commonwealth Orthopaedics for all callers who are new to the practice and sustain that experience through future interactions with the call center. He/she also ensures quality and continuity of service by adhering to established appointment access protocols.
Basic qualifications include: H.S. diploma, medical office experience required, general knowledge of health insurance process, fundamental computer and multi-line phone skills. Ideal candidates will have at least two years of experience working in a medical office, be professional, organized, and have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Experience in orthopaedics is a plus.
