Seasoned Public Health Development Professional

A New Rochelle-based (NY) international faith-based NGOseeks an International Development Associate for Public Health (IDA) for its International Programs Office (OIP). The mission of the organization is to provide under-served youth with the education and life skills necessary to succeed in life. The position requires technical leadership and guidance for the development of public health projects/programs. The IDA is responsible for grant writing and management, capacity building and technical guidance for public health programs. Fluency in French is preferred. Graduate degree in public health is required. Proficiency in at least one other language, and 5 or more years experience in health-related program management preferred. Overseas work experience and experience with U.S. Government grants and regulations highly preferred. The position will require approximately 15-20% international or domestic travel.

A New Rochelle-based (NY) international faith-based NGO seeks a Deputy Director (DD) for its Office for International Programs (OIP).The mission of the organization is to provide under-served youth w/the education and life skills necessary to succeed in life. The position requires technical leadership and provides guidance for the development of public health andbroad-based economic development projects and the property and logistics programs w/in the OIP. S/he assists the D/OIP w/administrative duties in the absence of the D/OIP. The position requires a graduate degree in public health (MPH). The position also requires at least 10 years extensive and progressive overseas experience including experience in international development, at least 10 years experience in public health programming, at least 5 years of supervisory experience, and at least 10 years experience managing U.S.G. grants and relevant regulations. The position may require approximately 15% international or domestic travel.
