AboutWeb, an IT government contractor with consulting, staffing and training services has an exciting position available in our Rockville location. This person would have various job functions, including Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and promoting the company to Federal and government related agencies. This position is available immediately. Primary responsibility will be to create and foster relationships with Federal Government agencies resulting in the creation of additional business with the Federal Government. This is a great opportunity with a lot of growth potential.
-Research and contact Federal Agencies to market AboutWeb Services.
-Use internet based research skills to identify business opportunities.
-Setup and attend business development meetings.
-Create Promotional and marketing material for the company.
-Analyze job descriptions provided and determine skills that would match.
-Market current candidates in AboutWeb database to prospective clients.
-Assist with developing a marketing and sales plan to grow the Federal practice area.
-Team with other department for joint strategy to grow IT Federal practice area.
-Assist with selection of additional members who join our IT Team.
-Strong written and oral comprehension skills
-Excellent reading and comprehension skills
-Strong Public Relations and or Marketing background
-Interest in learning about Information Technology, Recruitment and the HR field.
-Ability to multitask
-College graduate or some college work preferred
-Proficient with Word, Excel and the Internet
-Reliable, detail oriented, self-starter attitude
