Data Engineer

Data Engineer: Develop Index Geo Mapping application software. Use clean data to
create tables in AWS Redshift. Connect the tables to mapbox software. Designing &
implementation of solutions to ingest, transform & deliver data in AWS for analytics.
Utilizing AWS EMR for spinning up of spark clusters on dem&. Handling different data
format from vendors & convert & compress data for downstream data analysis.
Scheduling jobs using Apache Airflow. Capturing real time kinesis events & logs.
Creating IAM roles for end users. Making use of Monitoring tools for resource
performance valuation. Creating Data Flow Documents & maintaining on-call support
playbook. Travel to work at DC office 30% of the time if working remotely. Min Rqmts:
Master’s in Computer Engineering or rel. Knwl or exp in SQL, NoSQL, Building API’s,
Cloud Data Migration, spark, Spark SQL & HiveSQL; Knwl or exp in designing data
integrations & data quality framework; Knwl or exp in Data modeling & Data
optimization; Able to work at DC office 30% of the time if working remote from home.
