Duties
NOTE: The selected employee is entitled to retain his/her current salary rate when appointed to the AMP position.
Tour of Duty: Monday through Friday | 1:00PM to 9:30PM
Carries and handles tools and equipment for the journeyman Electrician, holding equipment during assembly, and screwing or bolting electrical fittings to walls or ceilings.
Tightens electric connections and cuts or drills previously marked holes in walls. Cleans tools, machines, and equipment and keeps work areas clean and orderly.
Assists in covering exposed sections of wire to protect the wires. The use of a multimeter, screw drivers, and side cutters.
Assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electric systems.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
