Job Details
· The Pre-print Technician is responsible for preparing print products for output. They coordinate the electronic workflow from internal and external customers. Identify any electronic file or equipment problems and interact directly with customers to resolve issues, quality, timeliness of schedules and adhere to closing times.

Tasks Performed:
· Manage throughput schedules to press
· Verify imposition for accuracy
· Inspect job files, operate pre-print and bending equipment to prepare for print process
· Perform quality check on finished files or submittals in advance of release to manufacture
· Review electronic files received from clients and check for completeness in advance of print process
· Identify missing or problematic components and communicate to client contacts
· Read and understand detailed job tickets
· Complete necessary department paperwork and documentation required
· Communicate effectively with supervisors, press operators, make-up, and co-workers
· Keep work area organized and clean
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma required; Associates preferred
Knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft applications required
Ability to troubleshoot
Strong written and oral communication skills required
At least 2 years of related work Experience
Machinery, Tools, Equipment, and Work Aides Utilized:
