Mechanic

Paddock Swimming Pool Company of Rockville has an immediate opening for a qualified Mechanic and Mechanic’s Helper. Experience preferred!

This position will require you to work under the direction of our senior mechanics. You will assist with car/truck maintenance jobs, such as oil changes, brake pad replacements, tune-ups, as well as providing support during more complicated repairs. You must be familiar with the general operations of a car/truck engine. Work will involve responsibilities such as performing semiskilled tasks in servicing and maintaining company vehicles and equipment. You will assist our Heavy Equipment Mechanic on complex repair jobs. However, the employee is expected to perform routine daily tasks independently.

Qualifications include:

• A clean/valid driver's license, excellent communication skills, possess a mechanic’s tool set, experienced with hand and power tools, familiarity with both gasoline and diesel equipment, ability to understand vehicle and equipment manuals, must present a professional, positive, problem-solving attitude and must be able to work independently in a fast paced and dynamic environment.  Must adhere to all company policies including safety policies and keep the work area clean and safe.

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

• Monday to Friday (10 hrs./day) 6:30am-5pm
